Chastity – as it is known in the BDSM realm – is the practice of giving up control of one’s sexual urges to a dominant figure. This is done by the use of a chastity cage which can be locked with a key.
The principals of chastity revolve around the idea that the dominant partner or key holder is in control over all sexual behaviour and they will decide if and when the submissive is allowed any sexual release. The terms may be negotiated so that the chastity device is worn for a short or long term arrangement and the idea is that the device makes an erection painful, therefore killing the buzz. Sexual denial by one’s dominant figure is an erotic predicament that generates strong feelings of submission from the one being held in chastity all to the amusement of the dominant, whose gain is through the thrill of control and feeling of power.
There are of course safety precautions that need to be adhered to, the genitals are sensitive and can be delicate so the chastity device used must be carefully considered; popular chastity devices are available in both silicone and metal and there are many great companies producing what I consider works of art.
